Moonwells would be seen across their lands and territories. The moon elves excelled at martial combat drawing on the moon to enhance their abilities. They built great temples and gardens with small town communities growing from them. The Order of Elune eventually came to be known as the Moon Elves, dedicated to the Goddess Elune, drawing their lore from the cycle of the moon. They would eventually draw a falling star to nexus line of great power on Azeroth they would call the Starwell The customary stars on night elf young that fade into adulthood would instead persist as they grew to draw more arcane power from the stars.
Delving further into the mysteries of the arcane, this group however never forgot the lessons on addiction and found the sort of balance they needed to deeply plumb the depth of arcane knowledge and power without losing themselves. As Azeroth quietened down, the need for joint efforts became less and less and the night elf societies were dominated by their orders and developed their unique identities.įrom the highborne and arcane gifted night elves, who preferred great cities and landscaped forests arose the Star Elves - a reformed civilization that drew from the purer traditions of the night elves at their greatest height of the pre-sundering era. I am writing a concept piece on the night elves a few years in the future where their various order continue to develop independently of each other only coming together in time of great peril.
Hey, would you say these are the 4 main categories you can split the Kaldorei as race (not just the alliance faction) into distinct focuses and orders?
